My art is fueled by passion. As a social worker by profession, the dignity, respect, and worth of a person is at the center of my work. The initial Art for Advocacy series was created with action in mind using funds raised from art sales to reinvest in community organizations creating a difference. Over the years, my advocacy has grown towards investing time and resources into projects making a difference, such as the Capital Region Mental Health Task Force.
Previous fundraising features include Erase Racism, In Our Own Voices Inc, Hamilton Hill Arts Center, First Tech Fund, Free Food Fridge Albany, Capital Region Chapter for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and The Vegetable Project. Please click their links to learn more.
No individual can change the world alone. We can plant seeds for change. Through community support, those seeds can grow. Thank you for caring!
I shoot photos with my mom’s old Pentax SP500, a refurbished Canon Rebel, and iPhone 11. Occasionally I get my hands on my Instax for cute polaroids.
